We tailor our training services to address your specific goals and fitness level. We support you in enhancing your performance and overcoming obstacles by implementing techniques from sport psychology. We track your progress and celebrate with you as you reach your goals.
Sport psychology refers to the application of psychological techniques and principles in sports. This is a newer field in psychology and can be vital to a runner’s success. One could argue that training the mind is just as important, if not more important, than training the body in sports performance. Sport psychology can address a wide variety of challenges impacting training and performance including motivation, goal development, mental toughness, concentration, confidence, mental imagery, and energy management.
The Running Coaching Program is $99 per month and includes the following:
- certified running trainer
- mental training strategies
- customized training plan
- unlimited plan adjustments
- personalized running paces
- email and text support
- race day strategy
*There is a 2 month minimum for this program
The Essentials Training Program includes a custom training plan designed by a certified running trainer based on your fitness and running goals. Plans may include skillful mileage building, targeted speedwork, and cross training to support you in reaching your goals. This program is ideal for you if you enjoy independence and want a more affordable training option. Please contact me for more information.
founder and Run Coach, Julia Raffaini
Julia is a certified running coach, certified personal trainer, corrective exercise specialist, certified yoga teacher, and licensed marriage and family therapist. She is a passionate marathon runner and began offering running training services in March 2018. She has obtained undergraduate and graduate degrees in psychology and uses principles from sport psychology to inform her running coaching. She resides with her husband and daughter in South Lake Tahoe.
